Mối là một trong những loài côn trùng sống theo bầy đàn, hoạt động ẩn náu và chuyên phá hoại nhà cửa, các công trình xây dựng. Do đó, nhu cầu tìm và diệt các tổ mối trong ngôi nhà của bạn ngày càng được tăng cao. Tuy nhiên, bên cạnh việc phá hoại nhà cửa thì chúng còn có rất nhiều công dụng hiệu quả trong việc chữa bệnh. Đặc biệt hơn cả là mối chúa. Những năm gần đây giá mối chúa tăng mạnh cũng vì đặc tính và chất lượng của mối chúa.

Mối chúa là gì?

Mối đa phần có rất nhiều loại như: mối thợ, mối lính, mối vua, mối chúa… Cũng có khi người ta phân biệt mối dựa theo màu sắc thân mối: màu nâu, màu vàng… Một con mối vua thường dài khoảng từ 10 – 15 mm. Mối chúa to gấp nhiều lần mối vua. Trong vòng đời của mối chúa, chúng có thể đẻ đến 15 triệu trứng.

Mối chúa là loại côn trùng khá nguy hiểm, với thân hình trắng, căng mọng, to tròn, thân to, đầu nhỏ. Công dụng của mối chúa đa phần được mọi người biết đến là chữa thấp khớp, đau nhức tay chân. Tuy nhiên ngày nay, mối chúa còn được biết đến như một loại “thần dược”.

 Mối chúa có công dụng ra sao?

Mối tươi nếu ăn sống thì được coi là một loại thảo dược bổ thận, tráng dương, tăng cường sinh lực cho nam giới. Chính vì thế mối chúa được mệnh danh là “sung thần dược” giúp đỡ quý ông trong chuyện chăn gối. Nhiều người còn coi đây như một loại “đông trùng hạ thảo”, chứa nhiều đạm, chất dinh dưỡng. Vì lẽ đó mà loài côn trùng này được săn lùng và quý như vàng.

Trong dân gian người ta cũng hay truyền tai nhau bí quyết mối chúa ngâm rượu. Sau khi bắt được mối chúa thì cho ngay vào một bình thủy tinh hoặc sứ đựng sẵn rượu ngâm. Rượu trong bình là loại rượu nhẹ từ 35 – 40 độ sẽ phát huy công dụng của mối chúa một cách tốt nhất. Sau khi ngâm từ 50 ngày trở lên là có thể sử dụng. Có thể ngâm mối chúa kèm với các loại thảo dược khác như đông trùng hạ thảo, tam thất, nhân sâm, củ đinh lăng, tắc kè… Trước khi ngâm rượu phải ngắt bỏ đầu mối đi.

Theo những người sử dụng rượu mối thì rượu này được uống sau mỗi bữa ăn. Liều lượng dùng là một ly nhỏ sẽ khiến cơ thể được bồi bổ. Ngoài ra còn giúp đả thông huyết mạch, bổ máu và tăng cường quá trình lưu thông máu.

Khoa học nói gì về mối chúa?

Trong mối chúa có rất nhiều thành phần chất dinh dưỡng như:

  • Có nhiều chất đạm
  • Chứa một số enzim cần thiết cho cơ thể
  • Khoáng chất
  • Các loại Axit amin mà cơ thể không tự tổng hợp được
  • Các nguyên tố vi lượng chiếm số ít…

Đây là những chất rất cần thiết cho cơ thể nhằm sản sinh và tái tạo tế bào cơ thể, tăng cường sức khỏe, sức đề kháng và bổ sung năng lượng.

Cững theo đó, mối chúa ngâm rượu sẽ tốt hơn khi chế biến thành các món ăn khác. Mỗi buổi tối, nam giới nên uống từ 1-2 chén rượu nhỏ mối chúa, không quá 60 ml sẽ có tác dụng rất tốt trong việc bổ thận, tráng dương, tăng cường hoạt động sinh lý. Với người cơ địa nhạy cảm, dễ bị dị ứng thì không nên ăn mối chúa.

Các nhà khoa học nói gì về mối chúa?

Đề cập đến “thần dược” này, lương y từ Hội Đông y Việt Nam cho biết: Mối chúa có tác dụng đặc biệt tới sức khỏe con người. Nếu dùng đúng đây sẽ là vị thuốc quý, còn dùng bừa bãi thì sẽ trở thành độc hại.

Liên quan đến vấn đề này, bà Nguyễn Thị Tuyên (Thạc sĩ Khoa Lâm nghiệp – Trường Đại học Nông lâm Thái Nguyên) cho biết. Mối chúa giúp cân bằng hệ sinh thái, làm gia tăng đa dạng sinh học, nhưng cũng ảnh hưởng lớn đến rừng trồng. Theo đó, nhiều khu rừng bị những tổ mối tàn phá nặng nề, nên việc người dân đi bắt mối chúa là giúp bảo vệ rừng. Song, khai thác quá mức sẽ gây mất cân bằng sinh thái và ảnh hưởng đến diện tích rừng trồng.

“Hiện chưa có quy định nào về cấm khai thác mối chúa. Tuy vậy, việc người dân vùng núi đổ xô đi đào bắt là tận diệt, không nên. Cần khai thác hợp lý, có chọn lọc để vừa cân bằng được hệ sinh thái, vừa giảm được nguy cơ phá hoại rừng của mối”, bà Tuyên cho hay.

Bắt mối chúa như thế nào cho hiệu quả?

Thực ra săn mối chúa rất dễ và không tốn nhiều chi phí. Chỉ cần chúng ta khéo léo và kiên trì một chút thì chúng sẽ nằm gọn trong lòng bàn tay chúng ta. Những thứ bạn cần chuẩn bị là một cái xẻng hoặc cuốc và một bịch đựng mối hoặc một bình rượu đem theo để ngâm mối.

Đầu tiên, chúng ta cần xác định những vùng đất có nhiều tổ mối. Đặc biệt lưu ý đến những vùng đất ẩm có đùn đất cao và những hướng sáng hợp với điều kiện sinh sôi nảy nở của mối. Mối chúa với bụng ôm đầy sữa lúc nào cũng chui rúc trong ổ sâu nhất. Khi phát hiện ra tổ mối, người săn tìm nên đào lấy luôn phần đất hang để bắt trọn vẹn được con mối.
